I'm a bit frustrated by this book. The premise is well done and explained. The previous lives are accurately told with historical detail. But I kept expecting a revelation, a why or a purpose. It never came. I also did not agree that beings who kept comming back and remembering the previous lives would become relatively amoral and gleefully indulge in all vices without guilt. Nor did I like that it never occurred to any of them to look for reasons why they remembered or why others did not. What might be the pupose?In the end it was interesting and has potential for a good movie. I have, however, books in a similar genre that maintain the mystery yet reveal a lot more meaning and possibility than this does. I really enjoyed this book. Well developed characters & an ending I did not anticipate at all. This book raises some interesting questions about human morality. Why do we have it? What happens when we don't believe traditional explanations of death & the after life? Do we really know everything about the human species & its life & death cycle? Are the events & people in the book possible? How would we know anyway? And what if it was true?I normally look for free or low cost books. I paid the full kindle price for this book. I am glad I did. It was well worth the money spent. I highly recommend this book.
